It is a methodology developed at Aalto University (Kyttä et al. 2013). The method enables attaching perceptions and experiential knowledge onto a specific location on a PPGIS survey data to investigate how people’s recreational activities, values and preferences are related to the protection level, biodiversity value and cultural heritage sites of a nature-based tourism area.
